Location: Goa, India
Site Area: approx. 40,000 sq ft
Scope: Turnkey project — architecture, construction, interiors, landscape design and custom furnishings
Materials: wood, cane, natural stone and natural fibres
Artisan Collaboration: handcrafted lighting and decorative elements produced by artisans in Indonesia
Designed in response to Goa’s relaxed coastal character, the home draws from the lightness and openness of traditional seaside architecture. A classic Goan roof and naturally ventilated spaces allow sunlight and surrounding greenery to shape the atmosphere of the interiors.
Natural materials such as wood, cane, stone, and handwoven fibres create a sense of warmth and ease throughout the home. Lighting and select decorative elements were handcrafted by artisans in Indonesia specifically for the project.
Every space was carefully detailed to remain airy and connected to its surroundings, reflecting the effortless rhythm of coastal living.
