Location: New Delhi, India

Project Type: Private Farmhouse Residence

Materials: natural stone, timber, marble and textured plaster

Key Features: central courtyard, skylit living areas, sloping roof profile and poolside living

Set on the outskirts of New Delhi, this farmhouse was designed as a contemporary retreat that balances openness with climatic sensitivity. Thick stone walls and sloping roofs help regulate temperature while giving the house a grounded architectural character. From the outside, the structure appears largely single-storey, maintaining a low, understated presence within the landscape.

At the heart of the home lies a central courtyard that brings natural light deep into the interiors and connects the surrounding living spaces. Skylights above the informal living areas further amplify this sense of openness, while large windows frame views of the gardens and pool.
